A complete turnaround in the weather from yesterday morning, a grand one in commence, clear, a westerly 15KPH should keep the day bright, temp a pleasant 15C, not to climb past 20C as the day unfolds, ideal for sure. Weekend looking good with a possible show of clouds here and there, but temps remaining the current level.

Good to see KENNEBUNK looking to come this way, must warn her that as great a part of the world she calls home one visit to the BERMUDA OF THE MARITIMES will not be enough. We are looking forward to wandering down the Maine Coast in a few weeks, never gets to be same old, same old, always something new or see for the first time. Hope she makes reservations for the trip, traffic heavy on that crossings, more so as beginning of the weekend travel.

Rob remaining on the mainland for the weekend, writes his FIRST BLOCK exam today, if he passes will give him first of four he is required to complete for his Ticket. Also has been given the go ahead to start work at BAYVIEW on Monday, they are taking him on and giving him the day for his Graduation, then back to work, entering the real world all of sudden.

Emily still at the Tankhouse, today should see her full, has been pretty intense past few weeks, now a summer of babysitting and an opportunity to work in the Hospitality Industry on her days not babysitting, a busy summer for her.

Rob:

HOW DENSE AM I????? I, of course, know exactly where you mean now --- re: Seal Island. I have always called it Machias Seal Island and didn't - for some reason - put two and two together. Clearly, I need a vacation.

Last year hubby surprised me with a trip over there to see the puffins. And 'no' he didn't go. If he got rid of me without me being pissed off that meant he got to play cards ALL MORNING with Gerald. I guess it was worth $90.00 bucks to him. BaBa
Anyway, I got to meet 'John' (I think that was the keepers name - BIG, HUGE GUY). I called him the gentle giant. Wonderful person and so gentle with his charges - i.e the puffins. You wouldn't want to step out of line, or off the board walk with him around.

I thought that the crew fellow for the skipper of our boat was a bit rediculous. We came ashore first and then there was a boat out of the U.S. that landed. Once they came ashore he loudly proclaimed 'WELCOME TO CANADA', wherein half the United States people , I felt wanted to draw knives on him, and some actually had remarks back. I was actually going to say: Way to Go, we are on an island the size of a small yacht and you want to piss people off? Not very classy!

So, I got a text from daughter at 11:00. She was just taking her disabled student down to the common area at UNBSJ and all hell broke loose. Someone came running by saying: There's a guy with a knife. Sarah could see a student lying on the floor bleeding. She immediately turned around and took her student to safety. He is in a wheelchair and cannot manage on his own - thus, her job. Anyway, she locked herself in a room with Ben. Eventually, the cops showed up (many of them), and the ambulance came and took the person on the floor. She has no idea what the deal was all about, but eventually, they got the okay that the campus was clear and not on lock-down.

Honest to God Rob ---- it is scarey to let them go to school now - isn't it. Anyway, if I find out anything more I will let you know.

So, beautiful out so going to get some dirt and get to it. Might rain later.

Have a great day. Word, Chunks.
