Calm, clear and cool, indication of forecasted cloud cover and showers by this evening is going to take place. Temp near the freezing mark, will make it near double digits on the plus side by this afternoon, forecast for next few days similar with showers in the forecast but temps slowly improving.

Large number of brant infront of the house yesterday at suppertime, certainly were conversing with one another, flock gradually increased to several hundred before they departed for the night, great to see and hear.

Rob has been reunited with BERNICE, Inspection Sticker has made her legal, didn't see much of him once he got off the boat. The respectful few minutes to catch up on his week, then he had to take one of his buddies for a tour.

Prior to the weather getting wet has been suggested there are some groundwork that can be looked at, also have the majority of the woodpile to split and stow, great to have something to do.

Dear Rob:

I can hardly believe that I travelled all the way to Grand Manan on Easter and didn't see one single freakin brant (which I went to see in the first place) and now you say there are several HUNDRED in front of your house???? How is that fair???? LOL Take a picture.

We finally had a day of sunshine here. Went to yoga and then back home - wherein the sun seems to have brought everybody and his dog (literally) out and strolling to my place. Many hours later finally ready to head to town for a costco run. Apparently, the sun brought all the customers out there as well. What a zoo! Got what I needed and zoomed out the door.

It has now been reported it is going back below freezing tonight with the possibility of more snow showers. WTH???? Arg. We need spring.

I have been enjoying the news paper from Grand Manan. My daughter had a huge laugh that the new window at Swallowtail deserved a three page spread, but then she read it and thought it was most excellently written and interesting. (The minds of english majors, sigh). I on the other hand have been enjoying the screw ups in the church bullentin and have laughed like a fool and am constantly reading them outloud to one and all, and have taken a copy to work.

Also interesting was the new up and coming art exhibit at the art museum, which I maybe entering if I can finish in time.

Anyway, I know we shouldn't, but pray for NO MORE SNOW. I THINK GOD WOULD FORGIVE IN THIS INSTANCE, being we are mere mortals.

Have a good one. Word. Chunks.
