A vast improvement in temp -4C, wind making its presence known SW 35-40KPH. Temp to rise, on the plus side, with snow flurries or showers to accompany the wind as the day moves along. Mixed bag of weather next week, with temps on the plus side for a couple of days and single digits on the minus side.

Rob made it home, a couple of trips to get his laundry in the house. A visit then he crashed for awhile, see a bit of maturity going on this time around. He is pumped about his opportunity to prove what he can do at BAYVIEW.

No fishing today, haven't confirmed the scallop quota caught up. Did see some pictures yesterday of large meats, eight to the pound. Dinner plates for shells, impressive to say the least.

Hi, Rob.

The past couple of days, there've been times we that were colder than the penguins down at O'Higgins Station, Antarctica, according to the webcam on Ylee's blog. We barely got above freezing yesterday.

While we're almost at 50F here today, it still feels cold. We've got a LOT of wind blowing out there and gale warnings are up for our coastal waters.

Scallop shells as big as dinner plates? WOW. I've never seen any that big. We don't get too many scallop shells on our beaches and the ones that do pop up tend to be very small.
