Weather sharp contrast to our friends on the prairie, here rain beating on the window, temp 6C expected to rise to double digits(albeit for a brief moment), heavy rain continues all day. Temp drops as clearing takes place this evening. Breezy, clear and cold for remainder of the week. However no comparison to the conditions out west, windchill factor in the -50C range, with no real signs of great improvement in the shorterm.

A number of boats took advantage of the break in the weather yesterday to get a chance at hauling gear. A number of traps coming ashore as boats preparing to scallop next Tuesday, difficult conditions for remainder of the week.

I was browsing the webcams here and I found some for Moncton, Fredericton and St. Johns. A few of them are not updating very often. There might be some along the harbor but I don't know if they might be in your area, 'cause a lot of them have street names, rather than city/town names. With me not being a local, I wouldn't know.

If you take a look, you might find something right here.

I have viewed the Swallowtail cam. Nasty weather but it's now getting a bit too dark to see much. (It's about 5:40 now)
