Daylight slowly entering the swamp, a h hint of red sky showing from behind Ross Island. A cool 4C, just a small draft westerly, expecting mostly sun with a possibility temp might hit double digits by this afternoon. Similar conditions for next few days with moisture in the forecast by weeks end.

Rob has returned to his abode, possibly be home this weekend, not much going on in St.John, plus by the time he gets out of here he has made like a bandit, clothes done, folded, some extra cash and fresh baked goods.

Fishing news remains quiet, some boats still fishing the 'grey zone', assume some of that gear will be making its way home for a look at before Setting Day.

Afternoon David, a breezy SW one it is, 20-25KPH, just getting up strength for second week in November. Then we can have the wind and cold weather combined for days at a time, of course one has to pessimistic getting towards Setting Day.

Seems the fleet about ready to go, hockey start up has taken a toll on at least two deckhands. One worked with his father, a two man operation he is done for this season, broken arm. A younger fellow did similar damage required pins and screws to put him back together, not good. Needless to say the hockey, men's, numbers are reduced till the first month of the season is complete.

Your jellyfish observation hasn't made it this far north, at least that I am aware of. Matter of fact haven't seen jellyfish, of any kind, around for a number of years, the environment is changing.

Have a good one.
