Sun making it up from behind Ross Island wind 10-15KPH from the west going southerly by noon, increasing to 30-40KPH. Temp a cool 2C, by this afternoon best we can expect high single digits with rain showers. Clearing for tomorrow with cool but clear for the long range wind expected most days.

ADVENTURE made the final trip last night in fine style, Rob had his laundry in the house at 10:40PM, with a stop in North Head before coming home. She has been making the crossing in approx. 80 minutes, quicker to the mainland and quiver home.

Little time sitting at the computer outside conditions have changed, calm, sun starting to compete with more cloud cover.

Dear Rob:

80 minutes to Grand Manan! I remember when it was almost two hours, in rougher seas, on the Lady Manan. Remember when you got on and if everything was tied down you were in for a fine trip of rockin and rollin. :)

Today we had the sun, as predicted, but the wind was cruel. We went down to my woods and it was actually a bit warmer the further in we walked. On the way home I commented to hub that the sun trying to get through the clouds looked like a 'snow sun'. You know - those clouds. Bleak. Back home and cranking up the wood stove. Apple jelly making after supper.

Sarah has reported in. She is in PAI, THIALAND. Google that. It is a pretty awesome place. She has already been to the gigantic waterfall and I guess it was spectacular. Sounds amazing.

Cody off again to 'help' i.e. fix, YET another vehicle for some POOR friend. He never gets a break. It's like the guy who owns a truck. :0

Well roast beast is ready to come out and be enjoyed. Stay warm and talk later.

Word. Chunks.
