Dear Rob:

How did you survive the torrential rains of Saturday, or did you get them? We heard St. Stephen got 165 mm and we were not far behind them. I seriously do not think that I have ever seen it rain so hard, and for so long, as it did on Saturday. We had flash flooding. The back yard - which is lower than both the side neighbour's lawns, was becoming a lake. Matt, the back yard neighbour had to take off his shoes to come over. I got a picture of him with water way over his ankles. What a mess.

The village had many roads covered with gravel which had washed away from the sides. Driveways - ditto.

So, we may have a few more days of sunshine coming up - let's hope.

QUESTION: I know there is going to be a craft festival on Saturday at the school - for the Rotary Festival - but - will the farmer's market still be on at North Head. Last year, it was. I went to the North Head market and it was great - sales wise. I am hoping to go to North Head again. If there is any way you can find that out - I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks .
