As daylight enters the swamp a nice looking morning is the order of the day. Calm, clear, a bit overcast to change to clear and sunny. Temp a modest 3C hope to make it into double digits by this afternoon.

Emily wrote her final exam last evening, off today to retrieve her belongings, she has to be out of Residence sometime today. She will be making her way home by midweek, a stop in Quispam is a must. She hopes to find employment sooner rather than later, the cycle begins again in September.

The ferry situation has no change, no indication from the decision makers they are willing to meet to discuss ramifications of this decision. We are still dealing with Civil Servants tasked with putting the decision in commence, sooner rather than later.

Hi, Rob.

So you've got the chick coming home to roost for the summer? I'm sure she's glad to have exams over with.

I hated exams. No matter how well I knew the subject or how much I studied, I always seemed to 'freeze up' when faced with exams.

I see you've having ferry issues. I do hope you can get those resolved. It seems that, no matter where you live, folks that are impacted by changes are seldom consulted. Or, if they are, they're not listened to, because the Powers That Be have already decided what they're going to do and local input is just a formality they have to put up with.

Morning David, similar weather conditions down your way this morning, looking good for changing bait over the next few days.

The local price mirrors yours, however not many coming ashore as yet. A combination of bad weather, full tides, and cold weather seem to have the critters content to hunker down and wait for better weather. The comment by your buyer made here quite sometime ago by one of the buyers locally, however the comment has been met with great skepticism but has been hanging on longer than in the past.

Our reduction in ferry service a great step backward for the island. Have had no luck getting a meeting with the political masters, not a good sign in these types of decisions. Seems the need for consultation with the folks directly impacted in these types of decisions not relevant.

Have a good week on the water.
