Sun slowly making an appearance, northerly wind 20-25KPH making the -1C seem much cooler. Looking for an improvement in the temp to mid single digits, with a suggestion of possible moisture this evening.

Clam harvesting in commence yesterday, don't have an idea of how plentiful, no shortage of local market at $25/bucket.

Arena coming to a close this weekend, seems the building now being utilized as first week, all hands trying to get a final kick at the cat before the ice goes out.

Mornin DAVID, glad to hear the weekend went well, haven't had a debrief with Tony as yet. Jeremey has now returned and they will be hard at it getting some gear in the water. Yes Gary is engaging for sure, a long history of participating in the various fisheries along this coast on both sides of the line for nearly sixty years.

Price remains high, local indications would suggest this might be the case for awhile. The real test will be once the landings start to go up in numbers.

Spring bird activity slow in unfolding around here, but indications are there things will be changing to better weather. Donna has a TO DO LIST for the yard that seems to increase everytime she reflect with a cup of tea, and trust me many cups of tea are dealt with over a day.

Hope you get a high priced lobster to market before things change.
