Indications of forecasted 'wintry mix' not too far away evident looking out over the harbour. The crimson morning sky behind Ross Island now obscured by cloud cover. Wind from NE a steady 20-25KPH, temp -5C to remain at that level with flurries late this afternoon, changing to snow during the evening, sleet and rain still being decided.
No gear going by the house this morning, not a pleasant day to be outside, let alone on the water. Wind to be a factor for the next few days.

I saw on the news last night that the Atlantic had claimed 5 Nova Scotia firsherman. Fishing is a dangerous way to make a living for sure.
Have a good day.
We have had E winds all day, steady 25-30 MPH, and snow since 7AM. All that with a constant temp of about 22-24 degrees? Wind must be more NNE just inside us with really cold air inland a ways.
Wish the boat was still in the boatyard on the mainland a mile from the Atlantic Ocean.
