A wind shift has failed to clear the skies, now NE 25-30KPH, no hint of sun as yet. Temp 1C supposed to rise mid single digits with sun not expected to make an appearance till tomorrow. Precip in the form of rain here, inland suspect more flurries. Winter not giving up without a struggle.

Emily has her laundry, larder and no doubt her wallet replenished, now time to shift operations to Whathisname later on this afternoon. Dosen't appear any plans to return till after exams late next month. Her calandar quite taken up with a concert thrown in the middle somewhere, Grand Manan not her centre as it was once at least.

Rob and Rachel had a successful Roadtrip, did learn BERNICE in need of new wiper blades, travel yesterday must have been more than bit difficult without proper gear. One has to ask why not visit CANADIAN TIRE while in the Big Smoke to get changes, no doubt with his limited funds on hand not a plan for him at least.

Lobster price almost astronomical from early on in the season, currently $6.50/lb, neighbours in Maine not hard at it as yet, not many in the pipeline, good old supply and demand.

Gale force winds with snow/rain on tap later tomorrow through Friday. Sure was nice working outside today with the sun shining after a few days of steady snow/rain. Heating the house at 25-30 degrees much easier then when 70 mph and 10 degrees.

Headed to Portland for a Roundtable Climate discussion on Thursday and then attending a meeting with the Community Fishermen's Network on Friday. Meanwhile I just got a call telling me my boat was put in the building today. I thought it was scheduled for next week. I guess it will have to wait until I get back. Not a lot to do to it this year unless something went to pieces over the winter. This boat thing is a rude awakening. I gotta get back at it soon.

Once boat done set some traps and then head to ST John for the Canadian/US Lobstermens meeting.

Dear Rob:

Okay - to be fair - windshielf wiper blades for his car, for a decent set, are probably over $20.00 each. So, that would probably wipe out the travel allowance, movies, popcorn, etc., etc, So, the scraper held out the window every once in a while probably worked okay until next pay day. :)

We have nothing here - no snow, rain, etc. YET. I am sure there will be something. The wind is up and that is all.

Well,, heading out the door. Have a good one.
