NEMO living up to his billing so far, can't tell if any amount of snow down, wind so strong keeping it on the move till it hits the wood line across the road. Temp -9C with NE a constant 65-70KPH with higher gusts giving a windchill of -21C. Similar conditions expected till late this evening. Weather to moderate early in the week to temps on the plus side and possible rain.
Power left early this morning, somehow the crew have restablished power. The woodstove wasn't cutting it the NE wind taking the heat up the chimney. Not a fan of electric heat, but at the moment quite enjoying it. Ferry Service suspended for the day, thus we are marooned on the Bermuda of the Maritimes. Road crew hard at it, it they encounter a snowdrift can only imagine it will be substantial.

Tony and Patsy no doubt attending the conference in March, will be an opportunity for you guys to compare note for sure. He has been egging this past little while, don't know if he has filled his quota or not, weather has been tough, cold and wind not a good combination for any sea creatur or the guy attempting to get them to market.
It is about 300' to the shore from where I am sitting, it just disappeared, guess would qualify for blizzard like conditions. Hope we are able to maintain power, as I mentioned have to huddle around the woodstove to garner any heat, house is tight, but see spears of snow around the back door. Stay warm.

Just read a post to me from Beth on FB. You guys are getting slammed. Stay safe and I hope your power hangs on. Not a happy situation for anyone. We all are sending prayers in your direction.
On my weather station checked the high/low we had 117KPH @ 0330 this morning, has been over 108KPH several times since daylihgt, 1230HRS no sign NEMO is signing off anytime soon, barometer still down, but not far off what is acceptable, as they say 'this too will pass'.
