Waitng for NEMO is the order of the day, major blizzard given a name, an indicator of how unique the storm may be for this region. Currently low overcast, a breeze from NE 15-20kph,temp a cool -15C, as the storm approached temp to rise to high single digits in the minus side. Wind to be gale force overnight along with major snowfall, still unable to determine exact amount for the Bay.

Emily remains in Fredericton, might have made the trip home with them, however obvious it would have been just ahead of the mess, at best. Tomorrow white out conditions for the day not very good for her friend to have a look around the Bermuda of the Maritimes. Rob stumbling about this morning, he was of the belief no school would be the order of the day.

Fishery news quiet, weather still the boogey man in the mix.

My check list is complete. Shop full of dry traps, firewood all tucked away so I don't have to venture out, snow falling and wind picking up. Chains on truck, let the good times roll. Now to simply wait for the world to end. TMI-too much information concerning NEMO. I am all for safety, just stay home.

Reservations made for 2013 Canadian/US Lobstermen's Town Meeting in Saint John March 22-23. We enjoyed ourselves up there (0ver there for you) last time and meeting Tony in Portland last year was good. Perhaps we will see him in Saint John in March.

The rest of the month has us going hell, west and crooked. Headed to Portland next Thursday for 2 days, then home, back to Portland on 2/20 to fly to Baltimore and Philly and back here 2/27. Nice to go, better to get home and have it out of our systems.

Stay safe, David
