No denying it is winter, clear, sea smoke beginning to show in the harbour, NW 25-30KPH, the -15C more like -25C with the windchill and blowing snow. Becoming more certain snow and wind this way comes starting tomorrow into Saturday to just what degree still in a bit of doubt. It is not going to be pleasant till at least Sunday.
Best leave Emily and Alyssa in Fredericton, might possibly get home ahead of the bulk of the storm, however they would be house bound once we did get home. Plan is to make it a weekend or so out, hopefully the weather conditions much better.
Boys basketball set for this weekend in Harvey, playoffs for Provincial position in the mix, weather will be a consideration for the teams.

Have decided to stay put, believe might be able to get home prior to the worst of the mes, but once they got here would be houseboud, so will wait a week or so to make it better for her friend to have a look around.
Cold is the topic for today, still -15C, wind picking up as the day moves along just not good. Stay warm

It is totally freezing here - no other way to say it. Wind is just biting. You really can't go out without a hat - and I never wear one. I am now :)
I went to town after work to gather up some supplies. The problem was - so did everybody else. It was worse than Christmas. At the grocery store - Sobeys - I took only the stuff I really needed out of my cart and then got in the speedy checkout line, which still had 50 people in it. What a nightmare.
Made it home alive and don't want to go back out.
All the girls in New England are preparing for the worst. After last weekend, I don't think I can take much more. Blarg.
Well, much stuff to do as just got home. Good luck and stay warm too. Hopefully we won't lose our power.
