Emily returned to UNB in time for Super Bowl, they haven't received the same amount of snow as we, must be nearly a foot or possibly more down yesterday. Yard still requires a plow to go through, will take forever to melt even if the milder temps do show up.
Harbour void of any wildlife, haven't seen any sea ducks for the past few weeks. The cold weather and ice have kept them in more open waters, no ice evident in this part of the harbour this weekend.

We got a bagful of wind the end of last week but escaped the power outages many folks on the mainland experienced. While you got a foot of snow Sat/Sun we got a dusting, maybe 2". The forecast was for heavy snow NE of us, and that's where you are.
Returned from an overnighter in Bangor. Good place to visit but not gonna live there real soon.
Price of lobsters up a bit, not much, while shrimpers are getting shorter season-2 days a week for dragging and 6 days a week for traps with trappers limited to 500# per day. Regional fisheries management (NMFS) just passed a 77% reduction in total allowable catch of cod for this year.
