The harbour a brilliant red, high tide, no wind, bright red sky reflecting off the smooth water as the sun begins to make an appearance from behind Ross Island. Temp a modest 6C, to remain in single digits for the next few days.
Otis back in his digs as of yesterday morning, dog welcomed him back, some of his posse in to check on him, don't know if he got out to check on things or not. Has agreed to daily input from home care, much better for all concerned. He seems to have put the health thing behind him in fine style.
Locally things still in the lobster mode, see some gear moving from the summer locations closer to the wharves. Haven't heard anything about bait situation, or latest speculation on a possible opening price.
