Clear, a cool 5C being pushed about by a draft from the west. Remaining clear temp might make double digits, wind increasing from the west 25-30 KPH. Milder temps in the forecast for the remainder of the week.

Otis evacuated to St. John yesterday at noon, his afternoon not great, by suppertime had settled in and improved. Tests and catscan on the agenda for today, no word of timeline or just what is going on.

Rob off for 'school trip' to Rockwood Park, some orienteering, rock climbing along with other activities in the Park, an accredited course, self development I believe is the reference. Word from UNB quiet, Donna travelling as a consequence my reports from that part of the universe less than normal.

Dear Rob:

L'il Rob will enjoy the course at Rockwood. My Cody loves that stuff. As a consequence, he could actually be on the Search and Rescue squad - which would look REALLY awesome on his resume. If you don't have a ground search and rescue - then he and buddies would do even better to start one. With all the hikers you have - nothing could be better. This would also bring on some first aid courses, etc., which you can always carry forth on your resume.

I hope that you get some good news about Otis. Realize he is in his 90's, but who cares, he is probably more healthy than most 20 year olds I know. Let me know how he makes out. I hope it is okay if I pass on news to Jeanne and Gerald because they are a bit worried - Gerald and Otis being so much good friends. They don't get out that much any more - although Gerald does drive down to SW Head every day to look for deer - so sometimes news is a bit later getting to them. Anyway - if it isn't okay to pass along the news just let me know.

I hope that Emily and Donna get a good chance to visit and maybe have a talk about her car accident, her school expectations, etc. Sometimes the kids carry on, and never say a word, but inside they are fighting the demons. Better to get stuff out.

Well, it is actually beautiful here once again, so out to the yard I go.

Have a great day and will talk soon.

Word. Chunks.
