A wet Sunday in commence, a slight draft SW, drizzle to change to rain for most of the day, a cool 5C will rise possibly into double digits. Hasn't decided if damp and warm for start of the week or possible clearing, southerly flow quite possible damp.

Woodpile now slowly being transferred to the house, a few sticks at a time, fire required both for dampness and heat, tis the season.

Boats getting prepared for upcomoing season, the haulup full, some on the beach getting work done. Bait still an ongoing concern, many have none at this time, just promises that more on the way. The weather not co-operating for the seiners to get out, the American contribution slowed down also, but expect to land some shortly.

Mornin David, has been a hectic week, haven't been able to keep up on the gossip between here and there.

As you mention the accident has had an impression on Emily, to what degree remains to be seen moving forward. It is obvious she has been placed here for a reason, yet to be determined. Similar to Rachel has no great interest in acquiring things for the sake of saying she has them or needs them, of course it can be said she probably lacks for very little. No great desire to have her behind the wheel for a little while at least, winter driving conditions a major concern so will doubt put it off for awhile before getting serious about a vehicle.

Fishing news quiet, bait still a concern, as well as price. No basis of course, however word is in the $4-$4.50 range on Opening Day. Some movement, at least in one Area north of here, to formally ask the government to allow a week early for opening, as mentioned due to full tides, and also near time SW Nova come on line. Bait a concern, all depends who you speak with, some ready to go with what they have for salt, some have none, majority going to depend on frozen, EXPENSIVE.

Stay dry.

Mornin CHUNKS, a damp one it is, temp still hovering around 4C, dosen't appear as if it will be advancing too high today, a wet Sunday for sure.

Don't believe any further comments required for Emily to be made aware of what she has survived this week. One still shudders about the event, however her ability to put it behind more than obvious, youth a large part of it I suppose.

Yes the stamina of one at 91 is something to behold, we were talking with next table coming home. One fellow said he met a guy at Home Hardware last week saying the fellow was 99 yrs., comment was O you met Smiles, pointed to Otis this is his nephew a mere 91. The guy couldn't believe it, Otis's sister a mere 90 was trimming her trees with a bucksaw a few days ago.

Have a good one.
