Another brilliant sunrise over Ross Island, a moderate 10C, a slight draft westerly, temp to rise high teens as the day moves along. The moisture in the forecast for the remainder of the week not mentioned this morning, looks like a nice THANKSGIVING WEEKEND in the offing.
The arena crowd have turned on the coolng system, the building now in the minus two range late yesterday afternoon. The plan is to be on the ice by 22 OCT 12, the youngsters certainly anticipating getting it on sooner the better.
Managed to get some of the long grass clipped, a bit more to finish, should be the last for the year, time to put it to bed till next spring.

The wife is causing a minor stir on Facebook. She's correcting fellow genealogists. When she does her research he finds birth, death and marriage certificates through her membership with Ancestry. Com to authenticate her work.
Enjoy the day.
Currently it is 21 degrees and BEAUTIFUL. Another yard day. :) I am with you! I have mowed more recently than I did all summer. The grass, plants and trees are enjoying a rebirth - it seems.
Fiber Ops guy was in the back yard when I arrived home. I know NOTHING about fiber Ops, but hubby is apparently very keen. We shall see how this pans out.
Well, time to get to.
Have a great day and don't freeze your butt off at the rink. Too nice a weather outside.
Word Chunks.
Emily overnighting on the weekend, she and whatshisname down on Saturday, Thanksgiving and Otis's 91st celebration. She then off to Fred. Junction to Gram Grace's back to Quispam on Sunday, back to UNB on Monday, she is busy and appears to be enjoying her change from Grand Manan to the mainland.
Would like to think we were in the line for fibre optics, unlikely that will be the case.
Have a good one.

The fiber Op guy is here. I will ask about Grand Manan possibilities :) What a process. He is drilling, running lines, etc., etc. It will take half the night to learn the lingo and put the house to rights - but actually - with the weekend of a full house happening - WHO CARES - it would look the same on Monday, so may just leave it. :)
Enjoy a beach walk tonight or something. It sure is beautiful outside.
