Partial overcast, red sun getting up over Ross Island, the southerly breeze increasing as the sun comes up, temp a mild 14C, rain for next couple of days, and a first frost warning of the season has been issued.
The rockweed harvest coming to a close, one of the last spots of the harvest infront of the house. A solitary boat getting a load as daylight entered the swamp. A hard way to make a dollar, however some of the harvesters make a good buck in the short season.
The trip to Stanley well worth the effort, the Nursing Home there nearing completion, within the next very few months. A grand addition to the community, the welfare of the residents obviously well thought out, rooms spacious, bright, as private as one would want, staff accomodation all first rate. Travel on the boat still very busy.
