Dark in the swamp this morning, calm, can't tell if overcast, weatherman suggesting showers or rain by this evening. Currently a mild 15C, not expected to get much warmer.
Late trip on the ferry had twenty-five vehicles getting off in Blacks a couple of lines coming home. Great to see the trip being used, a number of bait trucks on the move, no idea where the herring are coming from.
A trip to Stanley to view the Nursing Home on the agenda for today, will have a good idea of what our facility will look like in a few months. Our home a copy, they are a few months ahead on actual construction,

Overcast with rain forecast for later today. Wind presently SW with small craft warnings flying until later tonight. NW forecast tomorrow should clear things out for a couple of days.
We've got 4 crab/oyster fishermen from Smith Island, MD coming for a visit and chat today. Smith Island is quite flat and erosion has taken a large part of the island over the years. I am looking forward to our time together.
