Memramcook, clear, calm, and a cool 5C expected to warm a bit as the day moves along, weather conditions to remain similar for the next few days.

Travelling public seems high, even on a Sunday afternoon on the ferry. Still a number of 'strangers from away' evident in the crowd.

The leaf peeping season a bit more advanced up this way than we are on the island. The prime effect appears to be a no more than a couple of weeks away.

Great day on Grand Manan. Warm, light breeze, saw the Bald Eagle, Great Blue Heron, 3 greater Yellowlegs,
Spotted sandpipers, Savannah Sparrows all right in front of our Marshview cottage at Castalia Marsh.

Thanks, what do you mean by ground zero. Is Marshview where the full force gale and snow land?I want to start a daily blog on wunderground. How do I start typing under blog?

Darlene welcome to the Bermuda of the Maritimes have watched the transformation of the MARSHVIEW as it unfolded, a definate improvement.

It is a unique location for sure, you are returning to Upper Canada prior to the best Mother Nature has to offer at the Marsh. A few times over the winter a strong easterly, combined with snow make your spot ground zero, great visuals shall we say.

Again welcome to the island, a grand choice for sure.
