Back overlooking the harbour, a grand fall day in commence. Temp a cool 9C, being pushed around by a 15KPH breeze from the west. Sun bright, definate fall sky, similar conditions for the next few days.

The treasures gathered on the cross border foray have been put away and distributed. Managed a complete tour of the island Friday, from Bar Harbour around, great contrast from working harbours to small enclaves of houses. Cadillac Mountain clear on top, looking down on the fog/clouds didn't get a chance to see if Dave was at home or not from that vantage point. Weather, company and location all proved to make a nice three days of touring and doing very little. The crowds of the summer not in evidence could get around no problem. All well at the home front.

Emily appears to have settled in quite well, has become friends with a young woman from Nova Scotia. Movie last evening then a 'social gathering' at one of the residences when they returned, wold suggest adjusting to the life quite well. Rob is around very little contact as yet, returned last evening went to his pit, too early for human contact this morning.

Mornin David, just returned from your part of the universe, impressive for sure. Very similar in many ways to ours, can't compete with Cadillac Mountain, second time we have visited the area. Foggy Friday morning, we certainly don't have a monopoly on thick stuff, climbed the hill and looked down on it, magnifigant to see. Drove around the island, no traffic to contend with, great to have done it. Looked over on the islands, didn't notice you anywhere, did see lots of boat working.

Tony getting ready for our Opening Day in November, the roadside prices not encouraging. Some of the restaurants did mention reduced prices, however most still damned high for what the guy landing them is receiving. Lets just say no reflection of the effort and cost to land a pound of the critters in the purchase price at the moment.

What are you guys doing for bait? Hasn't been any landed for salt bait here as yet no word of who is going to bring any. The only local senier left was lost this summer below the island, also till this past couple of weeks herring a scarce commodity.
