Daylight has yet to enter the swamp, the term cool this morning comes to mind, a pawltry 6C the mark at the moment. Weatherman giving clear, with a high of 20C then dropping back in a hurry. Later on in the week looking fall like, and clear.
Cross Border look around for next two or three days, only plan so far is to be in Portland this afternoon, have a look around then jog along Maine Coast north having a look around. Certain some shopping involved and an opportunity to look at the working wharves on the way north.
Emily seems to be settling in, as can be expected some of her courses she enjoys better than others. Has a new posse to run with, learning what the campus has to offer and taking advantage of the facilities. Some of her fellow grads having problems making the change, hopefully they can make the transition and give it a shot.
Rob's scholastic endeavours seem to be on track, homework caught up, none at home at least. Hasn't heard from Emily for a bit, made some snide remark on his txting machine, apparently he is being made to suffer by no communication from her.

Hope you have fun in Portland and beyond. I just got back from Grand Manan. Stayed in North Head this trip. Fellow artist I met was going back to Ontario for a few weeks so offered us her house. It was like staying in luxury. It is the one right beside the Compass Rose. Apparently, it used to be a restaurant but I wish you could see it now. Everything is brand new and when I say luxury - I mean luxury. AWESOME!
The weather, as you know, was outstanding. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday - very hot. Shorts and sleeveless t's.
I spent part of Tuesday up to my butt in the marsh, but I got some National Geographic pictures.
Got in a two hour visit with Jeanne, whilst Daryl played crib with Gerald. Gerald got beat 4 games to zip - which is not going over so good.
Well, all are starving so I had better get it finished. It is near to 8:00 but we took the 3:30 so basically just got here.

p.s. The trip on the boat over was hellish. We were there in time for the 1:30 but they left one line behind - we were in it. Blarg. Thus, St. George got our grocery and lunch money, gas and a few other things. Friday the adventure is supposedly back on. We will see. No one seems optimistic. :)
