Great weather this morning, calm, not a cloud in the sky, temp a cool 8C, to rise to mid 20's, already on the increase. Similar weather conditions with warmer temps first of the week.

Tide on the rise, water so calm can see the water flowing into the harbour, no water fowel in evidence. They show up in the cool of the evening, have been able to keep the geese at bay this past week.

Kids ready for a few days off, whathisname about to land in Great Britian, will be visiting relatives for a couple of weeks. Rob ready to get some school things, but hockey equipment upgrades the main chore to be accomplished next week.

Dear Rob:

I hope you got Em the oscillating tower fan. It was so hot in Fredericton by 11:00 a.m. that I couldn't stay at the market outside. Blistering on the pavement. Did a little walkabout in the shade part of the street which netted some new art pencils :)

After two other stops we couldn't stand it any longer so we abandoned ship and headed for home - down the river road. That is shaded so it wasn't too bad.

Exhausted by the time I got home. Heat and driving are my enemies :)

Husband now chopping up procured bread and butter cucumbers - (oh yeah he already sliced his finger :(
and I am on to art making. Invite to the ART IN THE PARK on Sept. 3 so have to get product made. Almost sold out in Grand Manan over the two weekends.

Well, say a prayer for the girls in Florida. It could be a bit nasty.

Word.

Afternoon CHUBKS, damned warm even at Ingalls Head got a start on the lawn, bit of a breeze fooled me into thinking it wouldn't be too bad to complete the job, Breeze dropped out, must have sweat off three lbs. By the time I got it done, O well at least it is done.

Good to hear Cody back in harness, one would have to think the employer sees one that is a contributor to his operation. Sara not moving far from the University, she must be pleased to be a member of the workforce.

Donna had the crowd to market this morning, still very busy, she brought me Lobster Roll for lunch, one of the best I have enjoyed. A Lobster Roll always good, some just better than others.

Folks in Florida appear to have Issac enroute for a visit by first of the week the degree of how intrusive he will be yet to be determined.

Stay cool.
