Summer routine starting to wane as school, university, fall fishing beginning to enter local conversation. All the above of great interest and well being for the community. The uncertainty of the fall fishery, locating bait, price a great concern to the future of the way of life we now enjoy.

Lots of problems in the lobster industry. I would expect on GM many discussions as to best way to survive this onset and come out the other side intact and ready to re-create a viable lifestyle. It seems there is room for much discussion on US/Canada lobster issues. To me the issue seems to be how do lobstermen on both sides of the border acquire more of a say in how the profits are divided up. I am ready to get into processing, marketing and distribution on a small scale. A farmer gets pennies for the wheat in a box of Cheerios and we are at that level now.
