FRIDAY, JULY 13/12
|By: GRANDMANAN, 10:48 AM GMT on July 13, 2012||+0|
Grand looking morning, temp a nice 16C, hardly enough southerly to move the flag, clear, outlook low 20's by this afternoon. Similar conditions for the next several days.
A few waterfowl evident this morning, geese, but no young amongst them as yet. No sea ducks that I can see, once in awhile notice a raft of them, but not great amounts.
Trip to St. John uneventful, the extra ferry makes it almost normal. Left here at 930HRS home again by 1700HRS. A nice drive not too long in the waiting room, quite a contrast for the next one in October, leave at 0630HRS and return at 1930HRS, one of the realities for living on the island.
