Niece and her extended family in from B.C. three generations well represented, whathisname and whatshername will be accompanying us to the event. On the 9:30AM trip this morning and return on lasts trip tonight. Times have changed at least at our level, the beverage consumption will not help the Provincial Debt, not like it would have a few years ago.

Emily supervising a 'sleepover' in the gym as part of the summer job, she has a few purchases to make her graduation surprises complete, a new phone I am told.

Good hot afternoon,
Mid 80's with no wind on our end of the island. I must have been an old hound dog in a previous life. Once I come ashore I look for shade, a little breeze and cold liquids. Tomorrow is due to be a bit cooler.
Rachel and Em have returned to thier duties. Over 100 when Rachel returned to Philly. We gave her a small air conditioner for her apartment. The apartment is so small the air conditioner cools the whole place.

The co-op has a meeting tomorrow to try to figure out what to do with a $2.00 per pound soft shell lobster price. I kind of feel that if I am going to go broke I am not going to work too awful hard at it. The industry is not looking like it has too bright a future. Unlike some fisheries (cod?) our success at conservation seems to have been our undoing. Long term perhaps more creative attempts at selling the product will help.

Enjoy your family gathering. Last week we all enjoyed our party.
