Afternoon,
Off to St. Agatha, just below Ft. Kent for a couple of days escape before the full force of summer hits us. Maybe some unsuspecting potatoe farmer will trade his farm for my boat and gear. Just a few acres would be adequate. Property must have enough woods to provide fire wood.

The crazies who do all the running are on Great Cranberry, the other island with a year round population. I think they run back and forth quite a bit. They also have a mud run across the clam flats in the area known as the pool. Really thick and gooey mud but those who partake certainly enjoy the forlic. Gary Allen is the name of the guru of the runners over there. His mate (Lisa Hall) is a jeweler who uses sea glass to make high end jewelry.

Lobsters are scarse, We seem to have all sizes but no quantity unless outside a bit. May have to change up old habits and get out there. It has been a long time since we had a dry spell of lobsters in June like this. Takes me back 30 years or so.
