This morning a fine indeed, bright sun, a small draft moving some air around, temp in the mid teens looking great for the remainder of the day and weekend.

Conference group breaking this afternoon for "Leisure Time", one bunch taking advantage of the golf course, those remaining are either taking a boat tour or a high speed zodiac trip around Passamaquoddy Bay. No Canadian Tire here so will make a quick run to St.Stephen and no doubt a Cross Border foray is in order. A heavy schedule another Banquet tonight, last night the menu was steak&lobster just prime rib or salmon tonight, somebody has to represent the Village.

Dear Rob:

IT SUCKS TO BE YOU!!! Whilst I am having left-overs tonight - due to all that needs to be done - I will think of poor you having to eat Lobster (once again) last night and crappy old prime rib tonight: Not to mention decisions, decisions, on what leisure activity to take in. POLITICS - no wonder no one ever volunteers. Bahaha

Have a good one. Word. Chunks.

Mornin David, your fishery reflecting pretty well the same thing in our part of the world. The soft shell never an issue with our season, not the case this past little while. As I mentioned dosen't appear any difference whether you are fishing in deep water or close to shore, many stories of hauls of 60 traps for five or six lobsters no matter where you are fishing. The price also reflecting what you guys are getting.

A bit of small world, one of the folks attending the conference has a Grand Manan connection as a consequence speaking with her about the state of the world. She mentioned her husband is heading a group of hikers coming down in July, group now #'s 68 this was interesting. She then mentioned he also set up an ULTRA MARATHON, believe last year, large number again on a small island off Bar Harbour, never mentioned whether she met you then or not. 50K on Cranberry Isle must have been a bit of a challenge, she said some took all day and a few managed it in just over four hours, go figure.
