Nasty weather morning, northerly with a hint of easterly, 15-20 KPH, temp 9C, fog with visibility about half way cross the harbour, showers now and rain later on with temps rising near 20C. Similar weather conditions the order of the day till at least the weekend.
Municipal Elections now history new Council sworn in this evening, a new mandate with some old and new challenges to be dealt with.
Donna had a good day travelling yesterday, they were able to make a few stops. The weather yesterday much more conducive to checking out Garden Centre than today for sure.

Nasty was the word for the morning. We got fresh bait so I just had to go out and put some on. I called it a day after 120 traps. The weather was all you said and less.
We lost the oldest fisherman on the island yesterday. Lee was 99, had not fished for 30 years but was sharp as a tack and could recall events from years ago. When I started fishing he was patient and answered all my questions. His stock comment was, "Why ask me, the more I go the less I know". I am beginning to understand what he meant by that statement.
