THICK fog, calm, temp a mild 8C, indication from the weatherman clearing and temp to climb into high teens. A southerly influence makes one skeptical that the clearing will actually take place, same idea for the next couple of days.

Rob still without his permit, going over the missed questions would indicate he failed to read the entire content before making his decision on the answer. He is one of the last of his group still in the writing pool.

Emily babysitting a couple of her boys they are impressed with her as they have suggested for the past several days it was alright if the parents left a bit early so Emily could look after them.

Dear Rob:

Wow! I really am relieved that lobster didn't drop out at .50 per pound. Also, sorry to hear that lil Rob is once again on the back burner. I think I told you before, but Cody's examiner showed him a question and said: 'did you mean to put this answer, or did you mean this one?" The difference being pass or fail. Well, Rob will get it sometime.

I know what you mean about the costs. Sarah got a small student loan each year, Emily should too it helps with their credit, and we help her otherwise. It is never ending on money. I pay Sarah's cable and phone bills and groceries? - let's just say we should have shares in SuperStore or Sobeys. The worst part is, when they are finished only 30% of people are finding jobs in their field. Everywhere is cutting back. Then you have to help them some more because their student loans start coming in, plus they are trying to live too. It is never ending. Was it this bad in our day? I remember working the night shift after graduation, then going to NBCC for two years and then I moved out to my own place. I never took a dime from my parents, other than to use the car to go from our house to the pick up zone to go to NBCC. Times are sure different. The kids just could not survive on their own these days.

Well, it is really over-cast here too. If the sun is going to come out it would have to be somewhat of a miracle.

Have a good one. Word. Chunks.

Mornin DAVID, thick fog this morning, however no breeze to contend with. Imagine most of the fleet getting at it, still only hauling around a couple of times per week. Not thick enough to justify going at it every day.

Believe bait a mixture of fresh frozen and salted for the local guys. Not aware of a shortage from CONNORS, the seining fleet still tied up, waiting for first of May, with a bit of quota now in play off of Halifax, not a great deal haven't heard if it is being caught or not. If the quota keeps being chopped bait will be premium,as if it wasn't already, price. Local wier fishery still weeks from coming online. You may have to make a trip to Blacks Harbour, not uncommon for guys in your area this time of year.

Mornin CHUNKS, I don't read my posts before submitting, the lobster price entry meant to indicate the price had dropped back by $.50, still over the $5/lb level, just wondering how far it will drop back this spring.

Gerald's eyes must have been giving him some problems, the temps nice yesterday, but still foggy down this way, not bad North Head, typical.

Yes Emily getting nto the swing of things for the culmination of this part of her scholastic life. Appears to be looking forward to UNB, slowly going through the process to get her set up for fall. Certainly not a cheap process, and see an increse in tuition set for next term. I will be working for another decade it appears.

Brant lots around for sure, can hear them quite plain in the morning inn particular and just before dark, providing it is high tide otherwise too far off shore to listen to them gossip.
