Winter like this morning a few flurries, calm, Ross Island barely visible across the harbour. Temp at the freezing mark, temp to rise into high single digits and clear as the day moves along. Similar conditions for the weekend.
Large flock of brant talking outside the porch this morning, largest gathering I have seen for a years. They were headed up the harbour early in the evening took minutes for them to go by, impressive.
Emily off to Quispam next boat - haven't learned what the must do reason this weekend, however I am certain it is more than valid.

Good Morning Rob, just wanted to pop in and say hello. I spend most of my time on FB. We are hoping cool heads prevail for another huge march in Sanford for Trayvon Martin. A horrible thing, but we do not need the pot stirred by those from Washington. All the facts must come out and then maybe we will know what happened. Hope you have a terrific weekend.
Oh I am going out on my first all day trip of halibut fishing when we go to Alaska in May. I am really excited. We are going on a six pack boat. Should be fun. We are allowed two fish a piece. Good eating for a while.
I am sure Em's trip must have something to do with 'whatshisname'. Ha!
I am off to Fredericton to see my daughter. Hope I make it alive. So far today we have had a hail storm of epic proportions plus snow. The mountain passes ought to be sweet??
I envy you seeing the big flock of brant. Are you going to post a picture. It is something that not many people get to see. Think about it, please.
Well - outta here. Have a good one.
Word. Chunks.
