The weatherman appears to have it correct this morning, a slight draft westerly with a hint of south in it. Hazy, red sky, temp 3C will attempt to sragger to double digits, sunshine the order of the day.
Emily returned to the fold having a stop on her way home to check in on her friend. In the interim I made a run to hospital with Rob, thought he fractured some ribs playing hockey. More a bruise than anything, he is stumbling around this morning making noise he is ready to go tonight - NOT.
Work on Otis's basement continues, appears the contaminated soil has been removed house jacked up ready to put a new foundation under the place. Amazing what stone work the tradesmen did to build foundation well over a century ago.

Did L'il Rob get carted off the ice on a stretcher? If you have to get injured it always helps if the rescue can be dramatic. :) I am glad that he did not have any broken ribs. A total nuisance to get repaired. Talk about manning up? .... wanting to go back to play tonight. Tough, tough, tough!!!
It was a beautiful day here. About +15 in the end. I actually got out there and racked up dead leaves that were holding water on the back lawn (I call it the dead marshes) Everybodies properties drain on to mine. Anywho, I hope when the torrentials hit this will help with drain off. Pruned back dead grasses, the rose bush and a bit of the bridal wreath spirea. RE: Any excuse to stay outside.
I hope that Otis' basement replacement goes without a hitch. I am sure he just wants to get this over with.
Well, it is 8:20 and I have a date with my Oceanography book so - gotta go. Have a great day tomorrow which appears to be shaping up like today.
