Don't know where the white stuff come from, just below the freezing mark overnight, appears to be 3-4 inches on the ground. Calm, temp rising onto the plus side as the day moves along, appears this weather pattern coming and going for the next few days.
Hockey active over the weekend, an Oldtimers Team from Fredericton made the trip on Saturday. To be commended must have been a poor drive and lots of wind coming across. The weather didn't soften them up enough as the beat the locals by a couple of goals.

Sounds as if you have a date in mind when traps go in the water. A few going in here, but the snow overnight will slow things up for a few days. Price still in the $4.75 range with some over $5/lb. This is making the urge to caputre a few a bit more urgent, before the price drops back.
Lots of it fresh bait, appears no shortage of herring off your coast and on Georges. CONNORS have been packing all winter, great quality as a consequence no shortage of fresh bait, sounds as if most guys have used up their salt.
