Weataherman has it correct this morning, temp on the rise, curretntyl at thr freezing mark, to climb to 6C. A bit of snow overnight, wind increasing swinging to the SE, a bit of freezing rain, then rain by this afternoon. Gale force till late tis evening, clearing, going westerly with a nice couple of days, supposedly, headed our way.
Winter like across the harbour this morning, Ross Island shore outlined in snow, with ominous clouds and a few spits of snow making it look worse than it is.
Emily stood down till tomorrow for her trip to Quispam, stayed with the kids she tends at the Boys & Girls Club for a 'sleepover' in gym at the complex. Probably good things she has an opportunity to rest prior to heading off to the wilds of Quispam.

Nasty here as the day moves along, drizzle the order of the day, your way probably freezing, just a mess, but will soon move along.
Emily turned in as soon as she got home, they had twenty-one kids under ten years. Turmoil dosen't do the night justice, but she had a good time, and the kids did also. The top of the evening was to go skating well after when they should have been in bed.
Emily is so great with those kids. I bet they can't wait to see her coming. If Em was tired, imagine how we would feel if we had volunteered to do the sleep over. We wouldn't wake up until Monday.
I had to make a trip to Fredericton to get daughter after her shift was over at 6:00. I thought I had the storm beat, but just outside of Oromocto I ran in to freezing rain, high winds, snow, and everything else it could throw at me. The highway was down to one lane and there were cars off everywhere. Two had ambulances on scene with people being put on back boards. It was white knuckle until I made it to the mall. I originally had not planned to wait there three hours for the kid, but I decided to just sit at Chapters and look at books and drink Star Bucks.
By the time Sarah got off work and we headed out it was better, but not great. Coming over the mountain passes were the worst. Heavy fog. Couldn't see anything. Finally, we made it home. One of the few. I have a major headache from starring through the fog and gripping the wheel. Oh well. I will take that.
Have a great day tomorrow. I hope I can just hike and enjoy it.
