Wind has finally abated, clear, a slight westerly draft, cold @ -12C. Forecast for warm weather to be absent all week, no plus temps in the forecast, but remaining clear.

Emily returned on 3PM trip, visited awhile then listed off early in the evening. Must keep different hours in Quispam than on the island.

The signs of changing of season are in commence, the annual exodous to the south beginning to pick up. A large number of brant finally made and appearance, and robins no longer a subject of conversation.

Dear Rob:

I am surprised Ems made it back alive. We went to the Irving Nature Park at high tide and the waves were still humungous. The boat ride must have been a trip and a half.

Was excited to see that the Brant are back. That is a bit early isn't it? Usually the end of March is more like it - or maybe that is just when I get to come over and see them. We have robins galore as well.

It is very cold today even though there is no wind. Heard rumors at the store that we are expecting snow tonight but can't find any weather station saying that?

Well, have a good one and stay warm.

Word. Chunks.
