Southerly influence evident this morning, a slight draft from SE, showers, temp 4C. Similar weather pattern for next couple of days with higher winds to be expected. Looking out over the harbour presents far from a KODAK MOMENT, very brown and dreary.

Local suttlebutt, as far as I know at least, quiet. The girls basketball competing for Provincial Title in St. John this weekend. A mass exodous of families anticipated. The annual pilgrimage to southern climes beginning to gain momentum.
