Moderating trend in commence with the influence of a southerly breeze 20-25KPH, temp a modest -1C. Temp to rise into low plus, remain overcast. A bit of snow overnight, amounting to no more than a 'skiff'.

SUPER BOWL now in the books, a typical tilt between the GIANTS and PATRIOTS, overall an entertaining event and a proper outcome for sure.

Emily enroute from Quispam, catch first trip out of Blacks Harbour. Have been advised dress trip on for Friday as the basketball MILL RATS playing in St. John this weekend, apparently a great chance to combine the two events.

Afternoon CHUNKS, a grand change in weather conditions now in the 5C range, sunny but a bit of a breeze to keep it a bit chilly.

Haven't noticed any seals around our shoreline, no douby no shortage on the offshore ledges and islands. They will eventualt make their way closer, always a good number in PETTES COVE in the warmer days ahead.

Super Bowl now in the books, haven't heard from OGAL or David. A great game, lots of wings and beverages over the bay around the continenet for sure. Emily went well supplied, seems they had cleaned up most of the goodies prior to the game. I had some WOLFHEAD Smoked Salmon that I sent along, believe Emily and Whathisnames' mother might have tested prior to the game to insure it was suitable for human consumption. By the time they agreed it was OK, most of it gone.
