The good weather suggested a few days ago, not materializing, fog thick, can hardly make out the shoreline, calm 16C. Similar weather for the weekend, with rain to start the week.
Fishery news remains quiet, the run of herring done as quick as it begins. Appears they show up for a few days then disappear. The guys netting not having any amount of success, not enough groundfish coming ashore to get one to smoke, the boats that are fishing going a long ways for very few fish.
Emily off to Quispam for the weekend, she has one more week of work. Her vehicle remains home but will no doubt pick her up on her next trip to allow some shakedown cruises around St.John, not a girl with lots of sense of direction as yet.
Rob having a good time, according to third party sources. He will have a couple more days before they return to his reality.

Good Morning Rob.
The Queen has no sense of direction either. It's that that keeps her from driving in Winnipeg. She gets totaly lost in the Health Sciences Center whish is one big maze with colored lines to follow and tunnels to navigate.
Enjoy your day.

Well, here is Calgary it has been downright chilly every night, dropping quickly down to temps between 5-9 C ! The temps drop so quickly in the beginning of each evening it is surprising how cold it gets. The thunderclouds gather and blow through the city, dropping the hail and rain with a vengeance, ruining any chance of seeing our cityscapes we've created in the backyards last through to the end of season. Apparently, according to the newscasters, Calgary is in "hail alley", which is similar to Oklahoma, only they are referred to as "tornado alley". I'll take hail over tornados any day, thanks. As of this week end, the temps will soar back up to the high 20's C, which is very hot indeed for Calgary's normal arid weather. This year, we have had a LOT of moisture, which gave us beautiful flowers, green grass and some mosquitos. For this, I give thanks, as the landscape here was pretty and a lot less dusty than normal:)
