A typical March morning, temp on the plus side to rise into double digits, overcast, breeze 20-25KPH southerly, can expect a few showers later on. The temp to stay in this range, then freeze overnight with mild temps by tomorrow afternoon.

Managed to have a few scallops gathered up for the upcoming BBQ season. No doubt will get some more as they don't last long when I remember I have some stowed in the freezer.

Fishery news quiet, a few indications that the wier folks thinking about getting ready. Notice some top poles being gathered up, and stakes being overhauled.

Dear Rob:

It is blowing hard W right now with driving rain at some points, then sleet, then rain, then just wind. Weird day.

The boys are back to the table indeed. Last night the executive came out to the boys on the line after talks finished for the day. They said - we gave this much (holding up a 1/4 cm between thumb and finger) and the company gave this much (same gesture) and we have this much to go - (holding up left and right hands about a foot and a half apart). Could be a long negotiation if they keep at it. Husband said yesterday was like a cake walk with the nice weather - after all they have picketed through.

Today have to make some sort of a grocery run as daughter announced will be coiming home tomorrow. That also means at least 10 loads of wash for me to do too. I miss my Saturday washing and ironing when she doesn't come home>@#%@#&^. woot!

Well, must get to. Hope you don't get blown away.

Word. Chunks.

p.s. I have been trying to save all the different quarters from the united states with their state on and whatever picture. As I do the daily deposit at the store I get quite a few. However, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Freakin Texas have not EVER materialized. So, if you get one of those in your change - save for me and I will trade you whenever I see you. TKS.

Mornin CHUNKS,we also enjoyed spring like conditions yesterday. Lots of sun and pleasant temps, the children at the Club playing outside in the playground for most of the afternoon.

Did notice in the paper negoiations underway, or at least reported to be at the table. Appears has to be one of the parties at least blink to have a start point to open meaningful dialogue.

Too much southerly this morning, no waterfowl infront of the house. Most of the fesh water gone from the lawn so no ducks getting a drink or bath.

The rink getting prepared to shut her down for the season early in April. The pains of withdrawal already underway in some quarters, amazing how the place has become a focal point of many in the community.

Have a good one.
