Overcast, with an ominous looking sky, calm, temp -3C, not to last for long. The mess further down the east coast this way is headed. Barometer steady at the moment, forecast goes right by Gale Force to Storm Force tonight into Tuesday morning. Winds still will be northerly with a mix of rain and snow for us, no doubt snow on the mainland.

A great dinner yesterday, with the family, mom managed to join us, but asked to return to the Nursing Home as soon as the meal over. With this being her 93rd Xmas she did well, enjoyed herself, but likes her familiar surroundings after a short time away.

Time to insure the woodbox is full, and a bit of water in reserve prior to shutting down tonight.

Afternoon CHUNKS, the nor'easter folks down the coast have and are getting, not too far off here. The wind now beginning to pickup from NE, the barometer has dropped signifigantly in the past couple of hours. Storm force winds till Tuesday morning. Waffling between snow and rain the forecast, but looking out over the harbour see the beginning of the snow already underway.
Good to hear that things went as planned at your place yesterday, and all hands used good by the jolly fat man.
As mentioned quiet here today, Emily and Donna already on their second jug-saw puzzle. The first one not much of a challenge only six hndred pieces, believe the new one around 1500, so that will give them lots of chance to bond before it is completed.
Rick crowd gathered this afternoon, first effort getting the ice down must be underway. Anybody that has visited the facility very impressed, and want to get it going ASAP.
Take it easy tomorrow, if you get out, the radar looks impressive and headed your way.

Dear Rob:

Hi! Hope your Christmas was wonderful. I was glad to see that your mom could make it for a while. We went to my sister's this year which made the first time in 25 years that we have not hosted the event. It was great to be able to get up, take time opening gifts, etc., and not have to chase all out of room because we had to start setting up.

Today is yet another dinner at husband's brother's place. I am a bit scared of the weather coming our way. I have to work tomorrow so I will be coming home before everyone else does. First flake of snow - I am out of there.

Husband gifted me with new lap top as I am always complaining of never being able to use the home site. I was very surprised. I had somewhat of a job getting on our blog because according to son, I have to recreate everything on the lap top. This could be somewhat confusing for an old timer like me. Ha. I will need lots of help.

Well, I have to draw trees for an 'ugly sweater party' son is going to at girlfriends so I had better get with it.

Hope we all make it through the storm.

Good luck.

Merry Christmas to all.

Word. Chunks.
