A wee bit different looking out over the harbour, wind still a factor, however wind from NW @ 20-25KPH, a bit of a respit. The weatherman indicating gale force to quit early this morning. Cloud cover beginning to break up, sunny and cool for the weekend. Longrange another few days of high winds for the first of the week.

A skiff of snow overnight might give the Fat Man an opportunity to use his sleigh tonight. Outside looking a bit more like the season, could use about the same amount to hide the brown grass to really make it fit.

The ice making underway with the arena cooling down quite fast. The concrete slab still on the plus side - late yesterday, ice crowd anxious to get r done, some even on Xmas Day, a bit much to ask.

The boat has continued on her schedule, great for the folks getting home for the holiday, damned unpleasant trips. However the level of disappointment not making the run would be one of those Christmas Memories one wouldn't like to remember.

Dear Rob:

Hi - busy at work as you can tell. Woot! This place is actually quite a zoo for 9:00 a.m. I suppose the folks of Hampton will need last minute tape and paper. We are full staff any who.

It looks like Gerald and Jeanne are going to St. George after all. Leaving on the first or second trip this morning. Good for them - although Gerald is a bit reluctant to go off island.

Our place has been an absolute crazy house. Everybody home from University is coming over to hang and say hi - at least until the bars open - and by that time I am ready for bed. Mike is home from the Coast Guard and has one year to go He will be stationed in B.C for the next 8 months - then final exams - then graduation. He is very excited about it.

I am hoping to get out of here by 1:00 and then start delivering some local presents and enjoying. Tonight is a banquet for all my kids and then church at 11:00. Hopefully, I can keep all from having too much pop? before we go for communion.

So, Tomorrow this crazy stuff will be history. Enjoy today, tomorrow, the kids, and all our blessings. Will be thinking about all my Grand Manan friends.

Word. Beth

P.S. OGal, Shore, Bugs, and everyone else ...

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM HAMPTON. HOPE SANTA FINDS YOU.
