Partial overcast, still lots of wind from NW @ 25-30KPH, to continue to late this afternoon. Wind to swing southerly overnight, then back to north sometime tomorrow. Temp -2C to remain similar till first of the week.

Weekend looking good to get outside decorations in place, will be cold on the hands, with a hint of snow, just right to speed things along.

Short week for the lobster fishing, dosen't look as if they will get anywhere till tomorrow, at the earliest, then weather could be same, but from a different direction.

Dear Rob:

It blew so hard here last night that I thought the roof was coming off - and it kept it up all night and in to early a.m. My baggy, deer in the head lights eyes can attest. ARG.

I note in your comment from yesterday that you are going away christmas shopping. Does that mean you aren't going to the arena Christmas Show? After however many years I thought I would finally get to meet you??? If you are going and you see this person standing there - with man with creepy mustache standing way far away from me - that is us. Husband is doing the Movember thing with all the other guys from Moosehead and they can't shave until the contest is over on Tuesday.

To quote daughter - 'dad, you look like some creepy purvert that hangs around malls'. Ouch - but it is that bad.

Well, son learned a life lesson yesterday. He turned off his alarm and fell back asleep. When he woke up and realized he was late for school, he jumped in car and took off, no breakfast, shower, nothing ..... only to be stopped at the bottom of our hill by the police. They were stopping everyone for something? Anywho ... son forgot to put seatbelt on. The Police Officer obviously didn't have his morning coffee because NO SECOND CHANCES ..... $172.00 fine and three points, plus his insurance will probably go up. Obviously, the UNB Parking Permit just didn't impress the officer that much. A VERY HARD LESSON TO LEARN.

Anyway .... see you later.

Word. Chunks.

p.s. I am bringing some of my chunky black berry and raspberry jam plus homemade beets for my table - although am well aware of Donna being world class cook. Hope it is a good show.

p.s. to plap - when I get back from this show I am going to see what I can sneak over to you. Jail time probably for me too - oh well, son and I can go to jail together. Woot.
