Thick fog, less than 1/2 mile visibility, calm, a balmy 13C once again. Temp to rise high teens, remain overcast clearing later tomorrow.

Ice making machinery in commence, slowly bringing building down into the minus range. Plan is to have it going for a few days to insure dependability then shut it off to allow other trades to get their work done, and do what painting is required. Goal is to start putting ice in by end of November, and open for public by mid-December.

Fishery news quiet, less than two weeks till Lobster Season, appears most are prepared. Time to do a bit of deer hunting in anticipation of the start of the season. Speculation on price the big topic of conversation when a few of the fisherman gather.

Dear Rob:

Can't remember the last time I went riding on October 28 in a t-shirt, but it happened today. Even then, after getting warmed up I had a sweat on, and poor Roz (who now has a bit of winter hair) was really warm. Went for a trail ride to cool down. Awesome.

Back at the ranch - tackled the two feet deep of maple leaves that were covering the entire front lawn. Many treks to the compost the front is done - the sides and back (which also has an ancient and huge Oak tree) is yet to be tackled. ARG. Just think how much money I am saving at the gym!

Tomorrow am leaving after work to go to Fredericton to pick up daughter. Husband is on mid-nights and will sleep until I come home, then go with me. Even with me driving, it will be adventures in back seat driving - tired husband and speed limit driving wife leads to some interesting? conversation. If he doesn't behave I am going to leave him on the top of the pass and tell him to hitch hike. Woot. See you on the way back, hon, that's how many cars there would be.

Well, all have arrived for soda bread, homemade jam, earl grey tea, and GREYs Anatomy. Could be another long night.

Word Have a good one.

Morning CHUNKS, wooly this morning, remains on the unseasonable warm side of the ledger. Helps on the woodpile, longrange indicating no major switch for quite sometime.
Kids preparing more for Halloween Dance rather than the actual evening. Another Passage for this group, Rob travelling with Youth Group returning on Saturday. Council have decreed Halloween will be on Saturday rather than Sunday, will be fun to see if there are two Halloween Nights as a result.
Have a good one.
