Clear, a brisk NW breeze 20-25KPH, 7C to rise into double digits. Similar weather pattern with a bit cooler temps in the offing for the upcoming week.

Emily overnighting at babysitting gig, Rob and his X-Box complete with television across the street since yesterday.

A couple of wayward Snow Geese on the lawn this morning, believe they have been at Whale Cove for sometime, must be getting ready to head to the south'ard. They are definatly off their usual flyway.

Donna watching the wind, her fall R&R at YoHo Lake schedule to commence tomorrow, weather permitting. Looking pretty good at the moment, will be some wind, but no easterly.

Morning, Rob & Chunks,

No geese here yet, but the white pelicans are wheeling in. There's just something about the call of geese that "gets" me, especially when I hear them for the first time at night. If the moon's full, it's even better. I suspect we're still about 3-4 weeks away from any chance to hear them. But I'm listening!

Dear Rob:

Totally awesome to have two snow geese. Hope you got a picture. I know you Grand Mananers get to see this stuff a lot but the rest of us in-landers aren't so lucky. Would be nice to even see the picture sometime.

Cold wind here today but going to attempt some outside stuff anyway. The indoor jail is becoming too much. An extra sweater will do the trick.

Expecting all hands to be here later today so a roast beef will smell yummy wafting through the house and perhaps a small fire to take the edge of the damp. Must get to.

Have a wonderful sunday with mom watching waves and boat. Good luck for Donna's sailing. If you see my buddy Gerald - say 'hi' for me and hope to see him soon.

Word. Chunks.
