Overcast, calm, visibility not bad, can see Ross Island no trouble. Soggy is a term that comes to mind looking out the window. Not any let up for today, a gradual change in place by CANADA DAY.

Ortho trip took about 10 minutes, looking good, come back in December for another check. Retainer overnight, as a consequence Emily very pleased. Next trip will be for Xmas Shopping am so advised.

Two boats on the run, not a large crowd coming or going, the passengers now a combination of locals and 'strangers from away'.

Great to have brothers visit, albeit a bit hectic around here to have an opportunity to sit and catch up on the goings on in each others world.

Dear Rob:

It's a wonder you didn't have to take a boat to the shops yesterday - as mentioned. Try to imagine the back road fiasco?

Today was muggy, muggy, muggy. Blah. Had to head in to saint John myself to get a replacement hinge for cupboard door. As cupboards are old this was an adventure in itself. Finally found one to semi-match. As everyone is 'too busy'? decided to fix myself and am proud to say 'i did it and it looks great'. Ha on the men.

Son has been asleep since 9:00 a.m. I will wake him in another hour or so. It seems that staying up all night working is not the same as staying up all night partying. The real world is coming crashing down on that poor kid.

I have not bowed in to making his lunch, but I did cave and make cookies 'for everyone' just incase he wanted some for lunch.

Well, tomorrow is back to the barn to see how the mare is doing. Hopefully the drugs administered will have taken a good hold. She did manage to chomp down half a bag of carrots so she must be feeling slightly better.

Have a good one. Chunks.

Morning CHUNKS, sorry to learn that Greta in such discomfort, hope she mends quickly and dosen't break the bank getting there. Vets are wonderful, but like most professional services expensive doesn't accurately describe the cost.
It rained hard most of the day in St. John, my passengers not a concern. I drove them to the various locations door, and returned when summonsed via cellphone.
I wasn't in attendance at the announcement, orginally set up for today, with Emily's appointment on the books had to look after that. The community will be well served by the completion we must be one of the few remaining communities without such a facility. The contractor assures us will be in commence by November, just in time for the new lobster season and hockey mania to strike.
Have a good one.

ROB
