She's a grand one this morning, calm, bright sun, harbour oily calm, lots of waterfowl, temp cool 6C, however to rise into mid teens as the day unfolds. A couple of days with similar weather coming then a bit of moisture for day or so.

Emily out overnight, but now babysitting for the day. Rob out male bonding with his group once again. They have been out of the house more than home this past few days.

Dona's mother taken to the hospital last night, many factors dictated this best aciton. However she was in command during the transfer instructing what had to take place in her absence and also the attendants learned what happened during the previous transfer.

Appears it is a day that can't avoid yardwork, holiday from work, and the lawn can be addressed.

Dear Rob:

I am on strike - from cooking that is. It is beautiful here again today - +19.3. So, dedicated my whole afternoon to a lazy lunch on the deck and then worked on the yard. I got the winter cover off the greenhouse, which was a chore in itself, and then raked, scraped and dug until the compost bin was full.

Started rearranging stuff that was put in the greenhouse at the last minute before winter hit, but will work away at that. I am going to plant a few things in hanging baskets, but seeding will be a bit yet. I think the end of April will see that happen. That will give them May and June in the greenhouse to grow and then I will set out.

I see that Ontario is getting a bit of weather so not sure if we will be the recipients next. Hope not.

Well, every one is STARVING, although we ate enough to feed a small village yesterday, so better have at it.

Have a good one. Word! Chunks.
