Clear, calm, temp -3C forecast is to stay in this range for today. Weather in the form of easterly gales by Wednesday, lots of wind for most of the week it seems.
The snow remains this morning, thought we might have it gone yesterday afternoon, the temp dropped just enough to stop the melting process, very seasonal looking across to Ross Island.
Emily has an ortho for Wednesday, the whole group to travel for a Xmas Shopping finale, however with wind forecat in that range will no doubt have to put it off for another day.
Lots of waterfowel in near the shore again this morning, seems to be a harbinger of weather pattern changing to the worse.
Sea egg harvest starts mext week, my lobster benafactor involved in this fishery, he is planning on bringing some of his lobster gear home this week. It is difficult to do fisheries justice at the same time. Price of lobster seems to be on the rise last report $4.50/lbnot great, but much better than last season.

Morning CHUNKS, our snowfall come later than you folks, still a fair accumulation. The roads were bare by early afternoon, then temp dropped lots of black ice shortly after dark as a result.
Even made some ice in the saltwater pond that remains on the lawn from our innundation last week. It happens a couple of times of year when the combination of wind{harbour goes onto the lawn} and full tides conspire to let you know Mother Nature is all powerful.
Wood fire and woodpile now in commence, great heat, and a little workout keeping the woodbox full. Also have procrastinated enough that it will be difficult to get wood out of the lot at moms, now that it has snowed. Must keep things as they always have been, difficult for not getting at it.
Hope the party was up to your expectations, have a good one.
