Clear, calm, temp -3C forecast is to stay in this range for today. Weather in the form of easterly gales by Wednesday, lots of wind for most of the week it seems.
The snow remains this morning, thought we might have it gone yesterday afternoon, the temp dropped just enough to stop the melting process, very seasonal looking across to Ross Island.
Emily has an ortho for Wednesday, the whole group to travel for a Xmas Shopping finale, however with wind forecat in that range will no doubt have to put it off for another day.
Lots of waterfowel in near the shore again this morning, seems to be a harbinger of weather pattern changing to the worse.
Sea egg harvest starts mext week, my lobster benafactor involved in this fishery, he is planning on bringing some of his lobster gear home this week. It is difficult to do fisheries justice at the same time. Price of lobster seems to be on the rise last report $4.50/lbnot great, but much better than last season.
