The poor weather hanging on, wind attempting to swing NW on occasion at 20-25KPH, temp 5C, rain has dropped to a drizzle. Trend to clear overnight, possible clear for most of the week, with temps in double digit on some days.

Donna put off her annual fall retreat to Yoho till tomorrow. Probably a good plan the Bay would have quite a few bumps in it between here and Blacks Harbour for most of the day.

Quiet in the community with the emphasis and speculation on how things will be for the upcoming lobster season. At least one economic casulty known this past week, a boat and gear seized for non-payment. One has to wonder if this the beginning of many more.

The CAD continues to hold its own with the USD within three cents of parity this morning.

Dear Rob:

Found out that we will be playing the dreaded CHARLOTTE CO., squad in the final match of rugby. No offence meant! They are just so nasty if the game does not go totally their way. They also have home advantage so as their fans are just about as bad, am not sure if should pack side arm, ninja stars, or whatever. This is just not going to be that good.

Tomorrow, I am thinking, will be probably one of the last games of soccer. I will be driving the boys somewhere - have not been informed yet where we are going?

Had NE today as well. Went to the barn and it rained hard for some of the way, and the rest of the way it was sunny with clouds. Just not sure what it wanted to do today at all. The wind kept you moving for sure.

Sorry to hear about guys boat and gear. Honest to God, work all your life and have a couple of bad seasons and it's game over. Discusting!!! I feel like we all could be there at any given moment. A sad time.

Well, I'm history. Speaking of which, I have been volunteered to type a 2000 essay tonight on some such subject - romanticism in the renna. period, or I don't know what? AP History - whatever.

Have a good one. Word. Chunks

Morning CHUNKS, glad to see Cody and the team are still victors on the rugby field. The championship game will be a true test for both sides one game to decide hardly seems fair.
Weather since yesterday afternoon somewhat typical for this time of year. Lots of moisture and wind from NE, at least don't have to shovel it. The lobster season commences in three weeks, and fellows will be off shore working, and temps no doubt a lot less.
Gerald and Otis or at least Otis(Donna's dad) has been out to 'camp' getting ready for the upcoming deer season. Also getting his blind in shape, have no idea how far aloft he is, but is aways. Most of the time he just goes to observe dosen't take his firearm into the treestand.
Temps a big contrast for our neighbours to the south, would be nice to make it an average till at least Christmas Eve.
Have a good one.
